TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
IN NORTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY

AT 440 PM EDT A TORNADO WAS REPORTED ON THE GROUND IN THE BUECHEL
AREA OF METRO LOUISVILLE. 73 MPH WINDS WERE RECORDED AT THE
WEATHER OFFICE AT STANDIFORD FIELD.
THE TORNADO WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL MOVE TO NEAR
TAYLORSVILLE AND BARDSTOWN BY 500 PM EDT.

AT 245 PM EDT...RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS IN SOUTHWEST INDIANA. THE LEADING EDGE OF THE STORMS WAS FROM BLOOMINGTON INDIANA TO OWENSBORO KENTUCKY. SOME OF THE STORMS HAVE KNOCKED DOWN TREES AND PRODUCED GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL. THIS LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING EAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL BE MOVING THROUGH ORANGE...CRAWFORD...WASHINGTON AND HARRISON AND FLOYD COUNTIES IN INDIANA BETWEEN 3 PM AND 4 PM EDT.
