   IN THE EAST CENTRAL PART OF KENTUCKY
      FRANKLIN...SCOTT

AT 522 PM...BASE OPERATIONS AT CAPITAL CITIES AIRPORT IN FRANKFORT
REPORTED 60 MILE AN HOUR WINDS AND VERY HEAVY RAIN REDUCING
VISIBILITY TO LESS THAN 3 FEET. THE STORMS WAS OVER CENTRAL
FRANKLIN COUNTY OVER FRANKFRORT 28 MILES NORTHWEST OF LEXINGTON.
THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH AND WILL MOVE INTO THE
GEORGETOWN AREA BY 6 PM EDT.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.  HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADWAYS QUICKLY...
AVOID DRIVING INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
