WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES
IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF NEBRASKA
NORTHERN KNOX...NORTHERN CEDAR
AT 700 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED FROM JUST SOUTH
OF YANKTON SOUTH DAKOTA TO 30 MILES SOUTHWEST OF YANKTON. THIS
STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH AND WILL PASS VERY NEAR THE TOWNS
OF LINDY...CROFTON...AND WYNOT.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...DEADLY
LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING
AREA. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN ALSO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
OR NO WARNING.
PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG
