THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE SOUTHWEST PART OF NEBRASKA
      RED-WILLOW

THE TORNADO WARNING FOR RED WILLOW COUNTY UNTIL 930 PM CDT WILL
BE EXTENDED UNTIL 10 PM CDT.  MCCOOK POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTED
A FUNNEL CLOUD ABOUT 6 MILES SOUTH OF MCCOOK OR ABOUT 75 MILES
SOUTH OF NORTH PLATTE.  THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE COMMUNITIES OF
MCCOK AND DANBURY.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE IS IN
A BASEMENT.  GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
