THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF NEBRASKA
      CUMING

AT 512 PM CDT NORFOLK RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 30
MILES SOUTHEAST OF NORFOLK...OR JUST NORTH OF HOWELLS.  THE STORM
IS MOVING EASTNORTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.  THIS STORM WILL
LIKELY AFFECT THE TOWNS OF WEST POINT AND BEEMER.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...DEADLY
LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING
AREA.  SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN ALSO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
OR NO WARNING.

IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE...TAKE SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING.  REMAIN
INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.  TAKE SHELTER
IN AN INTERIOR ROIOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.

 A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PARTS OF
 NORTHEAST AND NORTHCENTRAL NEBRASKA UNTIL 9 PM CDT.
