THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE SOUTHEAST PART OF KENTUCKY
      CLAY...LESLIE

AT 320 PM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING OUT OF NORTHERN BELL
COUNTY INTO SOUTHERN CLAY AND LESLIE COUNTIES. THE STORM WAS 25
MILES EAST OF LONDON AND MOVING NORTH AT 35 MILES AN HOUR. THIS
STORM HAS ALREADY PRODUCED 1 1/2 INCH HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS AS
IT MOVED THROUGH BELL COUNTY.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...
DESTRUCTIVE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR
PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME
OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DO NOT DRIVE INTO
AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
