FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  715 PM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTHEAST INDIANA
 
   ...HUNTINGTON COUNTY
 
HEAVY RAINS AND SNOW MELT HAVE PODUCED FLOODING OF STREAMS IN
HUNTINGTON COUNTY OF NORTHEAST INDIANA. AT 350 PM EST THE LITTLE RIVER
HAD A STAGE OF 14.O FEET WITH FLOOD STAGE AT 14 FEET. ADDITIONAL RAINS
WILL PUSH THE LITTLE RIVER OUT OF ITS BANKS AND OVER FLOOD STAGE.
 
PERSONS ALONG THE LITTLE RIVER AND OTHER STREAMS IN HUNTINGTON COUNTY
SHOULD BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NE3VER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
