OHZ006-007-009-011-091900- SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBUS OH 210 PM EDT MON JUL 9 1990 A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF CENTRAL OHIO UNTIL 9 PM EDT. AT 205 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM 40 MILES NORTH OF WHEELING WEST VIRGINIA SOUTHWEST TO 30 MILES NORTHEAST OF DAYTON. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL REACH THE COLUMBUS AREA BY 300 PM. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS.
