THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A URBAN AND SMALL 
STREAM FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 100 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN 
THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE STATE OF OHIO
      GREENE

AT 1025 AM EDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED HEAVY
RAIN ACROSS GREENE COUNTY OHIO. LIGHT RAIN EXTENDED WEST INTO
PREBLE COUNTY OHIO. THE RAIN WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH. THE
INTENSITY OF THE RAIN SHOULD GRADUALLY DECREASE OVER GREENE
COUNTY...AND THE RAIN SHOULD END AROUND NOON.

THE GREENE COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE REPORTED HIGH WATER ON SOME
ROADS IN THE FAIRBORN AND XENIA AREA. SHAWNEE CREEK IN XENIA
WAS ALSO RUNNING BANKFULL AND WILL LIKELY SPILL OUT OF ITS BANKS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOOt GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED IMMEDIATELY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN AND SMALL HAIL WERE CROSSING THE TRISTATE
THIS MORNING.

AT 430 AM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A LARGE AREA OF RAIN WITH IMBEDDED
THUNDERSTORMS OVER WESTERN OHIO...CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN INDIANA.

THE HEAVIEST OF THE RAIN WAS FROM VERSAILLES INDIANA TO CORINTH KENTUCKY OR
ABOUT 25 MILES SOUTH AND WEST OF CINCINNATI OHIO.

MOVEMENT OF THE RAIN WAS TO THE EAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND POSSILE HAIL AS
THEY CROSS THE TRISTATE AREA THIS MORNING. AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES
OF RAIN ARE ALSO POSSIBLE.

IF YOU ARE OUT DRIVING THIS MORNING AND ENCOUNTER ANY STANDING OR
FLOWING WATER ACROSS STREETS OR ROADS...PLEASE AVOID THEM AND MOVE
TO HIGHER GROUND.
