SMALL STREAM AND URBAN FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 3 PM EDT 
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
IN NORTH CENTRAL OHIO
         ...ASHLAND...RICHLAND...CRAWFORD...KNOX...MORROW...

THE SMALL STEAM AND URBAN FLOOD WARNING HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL
3PM EDT.

AT 1020 AM EDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED RAIN...SOME OF
IT HEAVY EXTENDING WEST TO THE OHIO INDIANA BORDER. THE RAIN AREA
WAS MOVING EAST AT ABOUT 20 MPH. THIS MEANS THE ADDITIONAL RAINFALL
WILL ADD TO THE ALREADY OVERFLOWING AND BANKFUL STREAMS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICfKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN AND SMALL HAIL WERE CROSSING THE TRISTATE
THIS MORNING.

AT 430 AM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A LARGE AREA OF RAIN WITH IMBEDDED
THUNDERSTORMS OVER WESTERN OHIO...CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN INDIANA.

THE HEAVIEST OF THE RAIN WAS FROM VERSAILLES INDIANA TO CORINTH KENTUCKY OR
ABOUT 25 MILES SOUTH AND WEST OF CINCINNATI OHIO.

MOVEMENT OF THE RAIN WAS TO THE EAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND POSSILE HAIL AS
THEY CROSS THE TRISTATE AREA THIS MORNING. AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES
OF RAIN ARE ALSO POSSIBLE.

IF YOU ARE OUT DRIVING THIS MORNING AND ENCOUNTER ANY STANDING OR
FLOWING WATER ACROSS STREETS OR ROADS...PLEASE AVOID THEM AND MOVE
TO HIGHER GROUND.

A FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF SOUTHWESTERN OHIO FOR T~HE
