AT 255 PM WEATHER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST NORTH
OF LUMBERTON. HAIL HAS BEEN REPORTED WITH THIS STORM. IT WAS
MOVING TO THE NORTH AT 30 MPH.
PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD BE ALERT FOR LARGE HAIL AND
DAMAGING WINDS. FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN CAN OCCUR

THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST NEAR 30 MILES AN HOUR INTO SAMPSON COUNTY. THE THUNDERSTORM MAY PRODUCE VERY HEAVY RAIN ALONG WITH SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS. OVER WESTERN ROBESON COUNTY AND ANOTHER OVER SOUTHERN SAMPSON COUNTY. SMALL HAIL AND BRIEF STRONG GUSTY WINDS MAY ACCOMPANY THESE STORMS AS THEY MOVE TO THE NORTH AT ABOUT 30 MPH. THERE WAS ANOTHER VERY HEAVY SHOWER NEAR BOGUE INLET IN WESTERN CARTERET COUNTY. IT TOO WAS MOVING TO THE NORTH AT 30 MPH. AN INTERSIFYING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER NORTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA AND VERY COLD AIR ALOFT OVERSPREADING THE CAROLINAS WILL CONTINUE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS-.
