THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF LOWER MICHIGAN
      NORTHERN EATON

AT 1000PM EDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM LOCATED IN
SOUTHWEST IONIA COUNTY MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH. THE STORM WILL
MOVE INTO NORTHWEST EATON COUNTY...NEAR THE VILLAGE OF SUNFIELD
WHICH IS 24 MILES WEST OF LANSING...BY 1015PM.

LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS HAVE BEEN REPORTED WITH THIS STORM IN
KENT COUNTY.

IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM..GO TO A REINFORECED
SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY
RAIN AND LIGHTNING.

INTENSE LIGHTNING IS REPORTED WITH THIS STORM.  IF OUTDOORS...
STAY AWAY FROM HIGH OBJECTS.  MOVE INDOORS IFn POSSIBLE.  WHEN

AT 740 PM EDT WEATHER RADAR DETECTED THUNDERSTORMS...SOME WITH VERY
HEAVY RAIN...OCCURRING OVER PARTS OF SOUTHWEST AND CENTRAL MISSAUKEE
COUNTY. THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED NEAR THE TOWN OF
FALMOUTH MOVING EAST AT ABOUT 25 MILES AN HOUR.

HEAVY RAINS...STRONG GUSTY WINDS...SMALL HAIL AND DEADLY LIGHTNING CAN BE
EXPECTED AS THESE STORMS MOVES THROUGH. IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES
