THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE SOUTHWEST PART OF LOWER MICHIGAN
      SOUTHWEST IONIA...NORTHERN BARRY

AT 935 PM EDT...WEATHER RADAR SHOWED THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER
KENT COUNTY...MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH INTO SOUTHWEST
IONIA AND NORTH BARRY COUNTIES. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. LARGE
HAIL WIND DAMAGE HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED WITH THIS CELL. THE
THUNDERSTORM WAS ABOUT 20 MILES SOUTHEAST OF GRAND RAPIDS...MOVING
TO THE CITIES OF FREEPORT AND LAKE ODESSA.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE FOR
DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE
SHOULD MOVE TO SHELTER...PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING.  ONCEK

AT 740 PM EDT WEATHER RADAR DETECTED THUNDERSTORMS...SOME WITH VERY
HEAVY RAIN...OCCURRING OVER PARTS OF SOUTHWEST AND CENTRAL MISSAUKEE
COUNTY. THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED NEAR THE TOWN OF
FALMOUTH MOVING EAST AT ABOUT 25 MILES AN HOUR.

HEAVY RAINS...STRONG GUSTY WINDS...SMALL HAIL AND DEADLY LIGHTNING CAN BE
EXPECTED AS THESE STORMS MOVES THROUGH. IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES
