NEZ008-013>015-017>019-260340- SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT AND RADAR SUMMARY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND ISLAND NE 940 PM CDT MON JUN 25 1990 THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED ACROSS PARTS OF CENTRAL AND NORTHCENTRAL NEBRASKA THIS EVENING. AT 930 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS SCATTERED IN A 100 MILE WIDE AREA TO THE NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM 30 MILES SOUTH OF NORTH PLATTE TO 20 MILES NORTH OF GRAND ISLAND...TO 10 MILES SOUTH OF COLUMBUS. THE STRONGEST STORMS IN THIS AREA WERE IN A 5 MILE WIDE LINE EXTENDING FROM 30 MILES NORTHWEST TO 30 MILES NORTH OF GRAND ISLAND. THE STORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR. DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...STRONG GUSTY WINDS...BRIEF HEAVY RAIN AND POSSIBLY SOME HAIL WILL ACCOMPANY THSES STORMS AS THEY MOVE SOUTHEAST.
