SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  245 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTHEAST GEORGIA

AT 140 PM EDT THE ATHENS RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ABOUT
10 MILES NORTHWEST OF MADISON GEORGIA IN MORGAN COUNTY OF NORTHEAST
GEORGIA. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...

3PM EDT TODAY......

AT 1125 AM EDT COLUMBUS WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A LARGE AREA OF RAIN
AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS ABOUT 25 MILES WIDE AND EXTENDING FROM NEAR
SELMA ALABAMA TO NEAR HAMILTON GEORGIA.  THE MOST INTENSE OF THESE
THUNERSTORMS WAS LOCATED BETWEEN HURTSBORO AND SEALE ALABAMA.  THIS
AREA OF RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 15 MPH.
