000 TTAA00 KAHN 221700 SVRAHN GAC013-157-221800- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ATHENS GA 1259 PM EDT FRI JUN 22 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ATHENS HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 200 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHEAST GEORGIA ...BARROW COUNTY...JACKSON COUNTY RADAR INDICATES VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED OVER WESTERN BARROW COUNTY DURING THE LAST HALF HOUR. THESE VERY STRONG THUNDER- STORMS ARE MOVING EAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR. WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING. DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.
