THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  245 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN SOUTH TEXAS
          ...DIMMIT
 
VERY HEAVY RAINS CONTINUE TO FALL OVER DIMMIT COUNTY. LOCAL OFFICIALS
IN CARRIZO SPRINGS REPORT THAT MOST ROADS IN THE AREA ARE CLOSED
INCLUDING US HWY 83.  SOME HOMES ARE FLOODED AND SHELTERS HAVE BEEN
OPENED FOR THE EVACUEES. MANY CARS ARE STALLED IN HIGH WATER.
 
RADAR INDICATES THAT HEAVY RAINS ARE LIKELY TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT
TWO TO THREE HOURS.
 
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR HAS BEEN
REPORTED.
 
 
REMEMBER...DEATHS DURING FLASH FLOODING ARE FREQUENTLY RELATED TO
