...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR MOST OF IOWA UNTIL 9AM...

AT 435 AM...ISOLATED INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE OVER CENTRAL AND WEST
CENTRAL IOWA.  THE STORMS WERE 35 AND 60 MILES NORTHWEST OF DES MOINES
NEAR OGDEN...JEFFERSON AND COON RAPIDS.  ALONG WITH THE EXTREMELY HEAVY
RAINS...WINDS OF 50 MILES AN HOUR AND HAIL ARE OCCURRING WITH THESE
STORMS.

ALSO...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM CENTRAL INTO
NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL IOWA.  AND A FEW SHOWERS AND STORMS HAD
DEVELOPED OVER THE SOUTHERN COUNTIES...ABOUT MIDWAY BETWEEN LAMONI AND
OTTUMWA.
