NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILLIAMSPORT PA
147 AM EDT WED OCT 24 1990

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS EXTENDED THE SMALL STREAM FLOOD
WARNING FOR STREAMS IN BRADFORD COUNTY OF NORTHCENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 400 AM EDT.

RUNOFF FROM TUESDAYS HEAVY RAIN CONTINUES TO CAUSE FLOODING IN
BRADFORD COUNTY. SUGAR CREEK ROAD ALONG SUGAR CREEK HAS BEEN CLOSED
DUE TO RISES ON THE CREEK. A BRIDGE ON BUCKS CREEK ROAD WAS REPORTED
WASHED OUT. CUTLOW CREEK HAS WASHED OUT PORTIONS OF MEADOWLARK DRIVE.

OTHER STREAMS IN THE COUNTY HAVE STARTED TO FALL. THE UPPER PORTION OF
SUGAR CREEK WAS FALLING...WHILE RISING WATERS AT THE LOWER END WAS
PRODUCING FLOODING.

A SMALL STREAM FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT SMALL STREAM FLOODING IS
IMMINENT OR IS ALREADY OCCURRING.  TAKE NECESSARY SAFETY STEPS OR
PRECAUTIONS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
