THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 715 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE WEST PART OF PENNSYLVANIA
      LAWRENCE

AT 1758 REPORTS OF DAMAGE IN NEW CASTLE FROM THUNDERSTORM
MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STFORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE FOR
DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE
SHOULD MOVE TO SHELTER...PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING.  ONCE
INSIDE...STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

HEAVY DOWNPOURS WERE DEVELOPING RAPIDLY OVER EASTERN OHIO THIS EVENING.

AT 600 PM AKRON CANTON WEATHER RADAR INDICATED NUMEROUS SHOWERS WITH
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS OVER MUCH OF THE EASTERN HALF OF OHIO.

VERY HEAVY RAINS WERE INDICATED IN WESTERN BELMONT COUNTY...WEST OF
ST. CLAIRSVILLE...IN NORTHERN HARRISON COUNTY NEAR SCIO...AND IN
NORTHERN HOLMES COUNTY NEAR LOUDENVILLE. THESE HEAVIER SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS MAY ALSO BE ACCOMPANIED BY STRONG GUSTY WINDS.

THE PRECIPITATION PATTERN WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH.

A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH TONIGHT FOR ALL OF EEASTERN OHIO.
