000 TTAA00 KBUF 280536 SVRBUF NYC009-037-121-073-280700- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BUFFALO NY 135 AM EDT TUE AUG 28 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK CATTARAUGUS...ORLEANS...GENESEE AND WYOMING ...THIS WARNING ALSO INCLUDES THE ADJACENT LAKE WATERS FOR ORLEANS COUNTY AT 135 AM BUFFALO WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS RUNNING FROM WESTERN NIAGARA COUNTY SOUTH TO JAMESTOWN NEW YORK. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR. FREQUENT LIGHTNING...HEAVY DOWNPOURS...LARGE HAIL AND STRONG DAMAGING WINDS MAY ACCOMPANY THESE THUNDERSTORMS.
