FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION......

THE FLOOD WARNING FOR THE SARANAC RIVER HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 2 AM.
 
FLOODING CONTINUES TO OCCUR OVER SECTIONS OF ROUTE 3 WITH 6 TO 8 INCHEOF WATER OVER THE ROAD. THE SARANAC RIVER IS STILL RISING AT ABOUT 1
INCH PER HOUR AND THIS RATE OF RISE IN EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THE NEXT 2
TO 4 HOURS.
 
FLOODING AT THE MOUTH OF THE SARANAC RIVER AT PLATTSBURGH
WILL BEGIN TO OCCUR AROUND THE 8 FOOT LEVEL. THIS WILL OCCUR BETWEEN
MIDNIGHT AND 2 AM.
 
COLDER AIR PUSHING INTO NORTHEAST NEW YORK WILL HELP SLOW RUNOFF FROM
SNOWMELT AND THE RAIN WILL CHANGE TO SNOW AS TEMPERATURES FALL TO AND
BLEOW FREEZING.
 
THE NEXT STATEMENT WILL BE ISSURE AROUND 1030 PM.
