INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE SCATTERED ACROSS NORTHEAST AND EAST CENTRAL
KANSAS AT 730 PM. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE NORTHEAST OF A LINE FROM 20
MILES SOUTH OF OTTAWA...TO 15 MILES WEST OF OTTAWA...TO JUST SOUTHWEST
OF TOPEKA...TO 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF MARYSVILLE. THESE THUNDERSTORMS
WERE MOVING NOTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

THE MOST INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE 13 MILES EAST SOUTHEAST OF MARYS-
VILLE NEAR FRANKFORT...JUST NORTH AND 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF LAWRENCE
NEAR PERRY DAM...AND 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF ST JOSEPH MISSOURI.

THE SEVERE WEATHER THAT OCCURRED EARLIER THIS EVENINGL IS NO LONGER
A THREAT. THE STORMS THAT PRODUCED THE SEVERE WEATHER HAVE EITHER
DECREASED IN INTENSITY OR MOVED OUT OF NORTHEAST KANSAS.

AT 930 PM CDT...THE STORMS EXTENDED FROM HAYS NORTHEAST TO 10 MILES NORTH
OF CONCORDIA TO BEATRICE NEBRASKA.

THE STRONGEST STORM WAS 15 MILES NORTHWEST OF CONCORDIA. THESE STORMS
WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH AND WILL BE IN CONCORDIA BY 950 PM CDT.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM CDT FOR ALL OF NORTH

AREA OF PRECIPITATION WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

ANOTHER AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS...15 MILES WIDE...EXTENDED FROM 10 MILES

AT 1100 PM CDT...THE MOST INTENSE STORMS WERE AT AURORA /10 MILES SOUTH-
EAST OF CONCORDIA/..AT CLAY CENTER /30 MILES SOUTHEAST OF CONCORDIA/ AND
IN A LINE FROM 20 MILES SOUTHWEST OF MARYSVILLE TO 10 MILES NORTHEAST OF
MARYSVILLE. THE OVERALL LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM 45 MILES WEST
OF SALINA NORTHEAST TO 25 MILES NORTH OF MARYSVILLE.

AT 1055 PM CDT...45 TO 55 MPH WINDS WERE REPORTED AT MINNEAPOLIS AND 10
NORTHWEST OF CLAY CENTER.

PEOPLE IN THE PATHS OF THESE STORMS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR HIGH WINDS AND
DEADLY LIGHTNING.
