AT 445PM CDT STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE ABOUT 40 MILES SOUTH OF
EMPORIA TO 45 MILES SOUTHEAST OF EMPORIA OR OVER CENTRAL GREENWOOD AND
SOUTHERN WOODSON COUNTY. THESE STORMS HAVE PRODUCED LARGE HAIL AND
HEAVY RAINS. IF THE STORMS REMAIN STRONG, THEY WILL BE MOVING INTO
SOUTHERN COFFEY AND SOUTHWEST ANDERSON COUNTIES BETWEEN 500PM AND 530PM
CDT. THE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST BETWEEN 20 AND 25 MPH.

THE STORMS WILL BE EFFECTING THE TOWN OF BURLINGTON AND JOHN REDMOND
RESERVOIR BY 530 PM CDT. IF THE STORMS RETAIN THEIR INTENSITY, WARNINGS
WILL BE LIKELY FOR THIS AREA BETWEEN 5/ AND 6PM CDT. BOATERS ON JOHN
REDMOND SHOULD BE PREPARED TO SEEK SAFE HARBOR.

KANSAS AT 730 PM. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE NORTHEAST OF A LINE FROM 20
MILES SOUTH OF OTTAWA...TO 15 MILES WEST OF OTTAWA...TO JUST SOUTHWEST
OF TOPEKA...TO 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF MARYSVILLE. THESE THUNDERSTORMS
WERE MOVING NOTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

THE MOST INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE 13 MILES EAST SOUTHEAST OF MARYS-
VILLE NEAR FRANKFORT...JUST NORTH AND 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF LAWRENCE
NEAR PERRY DAM...AND 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF ST JOSEPH MISSOURI.

THE SEVERE WEATHER THAT OCCURRED EARLIER THIS EVENINGL IS NO LONGER
A THREAT. THE STORMS THAT PRODUCED THE SEVERE WEATHER HAVE EITHER

THE STRONGEST STORM WAS 15 MILES NORTHWEST OF CONCORDIA. THESE STORMS
WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH AND WILL BE IN CONCORDIA BY 950 PM CDT.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM CDT FOR ALL OF NORTH

AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM 17 MILES NORTH OF MARYSVILLE...TO 35 MILES
NORTH NORTHWEST OF TOPEKA...TO 10 MILES SOUTH OF ST JOSEPH MO. THIS
AREA OF PRECIPITATION WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

ANOTHER AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS...15 MILES WIDE...EXTENDED FROM 10 MILES
NORTH NORTHWEST OF MANHATTAN...TO 25 MILES NORTHEAST OF MANHATTAN NEAR
ONAGA. THESE STORMS WERE ALSO MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

A NEW LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING INTO NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND
EXTENDED FROM NEAR CONCORDIA TO 25 MILES NORTH OF MARYSVILLE. THIS
LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INTO NORTHEAST KANSAS BETWEEN 1030 PM
AND MIDNIGHT.
