AT 625 PM AN AREA OF HEAVY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING
THROUGH BOONE COUNTY..SOUTHERN KANAWHA COUNTY AND AROUND RIPLEY IN
JACKSON COUNTY..AND NORTHEASTERN ROANE COUNTY.

THESE HEAVY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTH AT 20
TO 25 MILES AN HOUR AND SHOULD PASS THE CHARLESTON AREA BETWEEN 630 PM
AND 715 PM. THE SHOWERS WILL CAUSE SOME URBAN FLOODING IN POOR
DRAINAGE AREAS IN THE LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS.

SOME OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS MAY CONTAIN GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL.
