THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ROCHESTER HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 630 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA
...NORTHEASTERN FILLMORE...NORTHERN HOUSTON
THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE TOWNS OF RUSHFORD AND HOUSTON
MINNESOTA.
AT 520 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 26 MILES
WEST OF LA CROSSE WISCONSIN NEAR THE TOWN OR RUSHFORD
MINNESOTA. THE SEVERE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH TOWARD
THE TOWNS OF RUSHFORD AND HOUSTON.
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD
PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND
DEADLY LIGHTNING. PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER...
PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO
PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO WARNING. IF YOU ARE IN
