THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1230 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      SOUTHEAST GARFIELD

AT 1150 AM CDT A REPORT OF A FUNNEL CLOUD WAS RECEIVED FRON NEAR
THE CALAMUS DAM...5 MILES NORTHWEST OF BURWELL IN SOUTHWEST
GARFILED COUNTY.  THE STORM WAS MOVING SOUTH SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

PERSONS IN BURWELL AND AROUND THE CALUMUS RESERVOIR.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE IN
THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO TAKE SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF POSSIBLE.
OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  AVOID
WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES...TAKE COVER IN A REINFORCED
BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.

TAKE SHELTER IMMEDIATELY...GET TO A BASEMENT IF POSSIBLE.  OTHERWISE
GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  ABANDON CARS AND
