THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1115 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      SOUTHEAST LOUP...GARFIELD

AT 1040 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A TORNADO 10 MILES NORTH OF BROKEN
BOW IN NORTHERN CUSTER COUNTY.  THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST
NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH AND WILL MOVE ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF
LOUP COUNTY AND INTO SOUTHWEST GARFIELD COUNTY NEAR THE CITIES
OF TAYLOR AND BURWELL.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE IN
THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO TAKE SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF POSSIBLE.
OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  AVOID
WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES...TAKE COVER IN A REINFORCED
BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.

COUNTY LINE ABOUT 60 MILES SOUTHWEST OF NORTH PLATTE OR 10 MILES
NORTHWEST OF STRATTON.  THIS THUNDERSTORM IS EXPECTED TO INTENSIFY AND
MOVE EAST POSSIBLY PRODUCING SMALL HAIL.

OTHER THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO BEGIN BREAKING OUT OVER SOUTHWEST
NEBRASKA WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR WITH HAYS...FRONTIER AND RED WILLOW
COUNTIES TO EXPERIENCE THE EARLY ONSLAUGHT.  NO WATCHES OR WARNINGS
