SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA
...SOUTHERN COBB...NORTHERN FULTON
RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN...GUSTY WINDS...AND
POSSIBLY SOME HAIL OVER SOUTHERN COBB AND NORTHERN FULTON COUNTIES.
THEY WERE MOVING TO THE SOUTHWEST AT 10 MPH. CHANNEL 5 WAGA-TV
REPORTED OVER 1 INCH OF RAIN IN ABOUT 15 MINUTES. THIS WILL CAUSE
FLOODING OF STREETS AND CREEKS.
