THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HARRISBURG HAS ISSUED A
SMALL STREAM AND URBAN FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA
          ...SOUTHERN ADAMS
 
AT 555 PM EDT THE ADAMS COUNTY CONTROL PERSONNEL HAVE REPORTED TO THIS
OFFICE THAT THE MARSH CREEK HAS OVERFLOWED ITS BANKS ONTO THE MARSH
CREEK ROAD AND THAT BUSINESS ROUTE 15 HAD STANDING WATER ON THE
ROADWAY AT BARLOW GREEN MOUNT ROAD.
 
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR WAS OBSERVING SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS CONTAINING LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS CONTINUING OVER ADAMS
COUNTY.  IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED GO TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY AND
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED ROADWAYS.
 
 
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVETRS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
