THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  100 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN NORTHEAST OHIO
          ...LAKE AND THE ADJOINING WATERS OF LAKE ERIE
 
AT 1155 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS
JUST OFFSHORE OF LAKE COUNTY. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AROUND 50
MPH AND WILL MOVE ONSHORE AROUND 1210 AM.
 
THESE STORMS HAVE CAUSED SEVERAL POWER OUTAGES AND DOWNED SEVERAL
LARGE TREES AS THEY MOVED ACROSS ERIE AND LORAIN COUNTIES.
 
 
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS... FREQUENT
LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAINS WHICH MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF DRAINAGE
SYSTEMS. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO
PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.
