THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1245 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN NORTHEAST OHIO
          ...CUYAHOGA AND THE ADJOINING WATHER OF LAKE ERIE
 
AT 1135 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS JUST
NORTHWEST OF CLEVELAND TO SHELBY. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST TO
NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH AND WILL MOVE INTO THE CITY OF CLEVELAND AROUND
MIDNIGHT.
 
THESE STORMS HAVE PRODUCED STRONG GUSTY WINDS THAT HAVE DOWNED SEVERAL
LARGE TREES IN NORTHERN LORAIN COUNTY. SCATTERED POWER OUTAGES HAVE
ALSO BEEN REPORTED.
 
 
 
 
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS... FREQUENT
LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAINS WHICH MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF DRAINAGE
SYSTEMS. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMSl CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO
PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.
