THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1045PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF
CENTRAL MINNESOTA:
                  NORTHERN HALF OF MILLE LACS
                  
INCLUDING THE CITIES OF
 ONAMIA AND WAHKON


AT 1005PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 15 MILES WEST OF
GARRISON MINNESOTA...55 MILES NORTHEAST OF ST. CLOUD. THIS VERY
DANGEROUS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD PREPARE
FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY
LIGHTNING.  BOATERS SHOULD MOVE OFF LAKES TO NEARBY SHELTER. PEOPLE
OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE STRONG BUILDINGS BUT STAY AWAY FROM
WINDOWS.
