THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000PM CDT CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF
CENTRAL MINNESOTA:

INCLUDING THE CITIES OF
 LINCOLN...CUSHING...AND FORT RIPLEY


AT 930 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS IN NORTHERN TODD COUNTY NEAR
THE TOWN OF LINCOLN...20 MILES SOUTHWEST OF BRAINERD MINNESOTA. THIS
VERY DANGEROUS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD PREPARE
FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY
LIGHTNING.  BOATERS SHOULD MOVE OFF LAKES TO NEARBY SHELTER. PEOPLE
OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE STRONG BUILDINGS BUT STAY AWAY FROM
WINDOWS.
