POLK... SOUTHEASTERN CEDAR... DADE... SOUTHERN BARTON... JASPER AT 840PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM 40 MILES NORTH OF SPRINGFIELD MISSOURI TO ABOUT 15 MILES NORTH OF JOPLIN MISSOURI. THIS LINE OF STORMS WAS MOVING TO SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT. BE ALERT...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO WARNING.
