NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OKLAHOMA CITY OK
845 PM CDT TUE MAY 26 1987

     TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF EXTREME WESTERN OKLAHOMA
     UNTIL 10 PM AND FOR THE REMAINDER OF WESTERN AND CENTRAL
     OKLAHOMA UNTIL MIDNIGHT....

AT 830 PM CDT THE OKLAHOMA CITY RADAR INDICATED A LARGE AREA
OF RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA. THE
PRECIPITATION WAS GENERALLY NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM ALTUS
TO WATONGA TO NEWKIRK. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE LOCATED FROM
NEAR ENID TO NEAR CANTON. HAIL...STRONG WINDS... AND VERY HEAVY
RAINS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGER STORMS.

COMPUTER ANALYZED RADAR DATA INDICATES THAT 2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN
HAS FALLEN THE PAST COUPLE OF HOURS FROM PORTIONS OF WESTERN
CUSTER COUNTY ACROSS DEWEY AND BLAINE COUNTIES INTO EASTERN MAJOR
COUNTY.

MOVEMENT OF THE THUNDERSTORMS AND RAIN WAS TO THE NORTHEAST
