COUNTIES OF

EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...
 SOUTHEAST HENNEPIN AND NORTHERN DAKOTA


AT...720 PM WIND GUSTS OF 58 MPH WERE REPORTED AT FLYING CLOUD
AIRPORT..ABOUT 20 MILES SOUTHWEST OF MINNEAPOLIS..ALSO 1/2 INCH
HAIL WAS REPORTED AT BURNSVILLE.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST..SOUTHEAST AT 40 MPH.

SOME CITIES IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM ARE BLOOMINGTON..FARMINGTON
AND HASTINGS.

REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 60
MPH..DESTRUCTIVE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. ALSO
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH
LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BEN PREPARED

AT 650 PM CDT RADAR SHOWED  AN INTENSE THUNDERSTORM IN  NORTHERN
BENTON COUNTY OF CENTRAL MINNESOTA.  AT 645 PM CDT THIS THUNDERSTORM
PRODUCED HEAVY RAIN AT RICE MINNESOTA...12 MILES NORTH OF ST. CLOUD.

OTHER THUNDERSTORMS HAD MOVED EAST OUT OF THE ST. CLOUD AREA.

CONDITIONS STILL REMAIN FAVORABLE FOR ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN
CENTRAL MINNESOTA.
