000 TTAA00 KMSP 140005 SVRMSP MNC143-019-139-140100- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MINNEAPOLIS MN 705 PM CDT WED MAY 13 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF CENTRAL MINNESOTA... NORTHEAST SIBLEY...CARVER AND SCOTT AT....655 PM RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN SOUTHEAST MECLEOD COUNTY JUST SOUTHEAST OF GLENCOE. THIS WOULD BE ABOUT 40 MILES WEST..SOUTHWEST OF DOWNTOWN MINNEAPOLIS. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST..SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH. SOME CITIES IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM ARE YOUNG AMERICA..COLOGNE AND PRIOR LAKE. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH..DESTRUCTIVE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
