THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 630 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA...EASTERN LINCOLN

AT 600 PM CDT SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE SCATTERED ACROSS EAST
LINCOLN COUNTY.  THIS WOULD INCLUDE THE CITIES AND TOWNS OF
NORTH PLATTE...MAXWELL AND BRADY.

IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES...GET TO A REINFORCED SHELTER AND
PREPARE FOR STRONG DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN AND
DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.  REMEMBER...THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY
DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING...SO BE ON
THE LOOKOUT!!

LARGE HAIL GREATER THAN 3/4 INCH IN DIAMETER...DEADLY LIGHTNING
AND VERY HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA QUICKLY.
