000 TTAA00 KBFF 102317 SVRVTN NEC031-110010- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE VALENTINE NE ISSUED BY SCOTTSBLUFF NE 515 PM MDT FRI JUL 10 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 710 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...NORTHEAST CHERRY AND THE CITY OF VALENTINE AT 610 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS 15 MILES NORTHWEST OF VALENTINE NEBRASKA MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH. THIS STORM SHOULD REACH VALENTINE NEBRASKA VICINITY BY 625 PM CDT. THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO WARNING...SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT. AT 420 PM MDT STRONG THUNDERSTORMS HAD JUST DEVELOPED IN SOUTH CENTRAL KEITH COUNTY OF SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA. THE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE 7 MILES SOUTHEAST OF OGALLALA NEBRASKA WHICH IS IN CENTRAL KEITH COUNTY. NO THUNDERSTORM MOVEMENT HAD YET BEEN DETERMINED DUE TO BEING NEWLY DEVELOPED. LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS WHEN EXACT MOVEMENT HAS BEEN DETERMINED.
