AT 230 PM EST...INDIANAPOLIS RADAR SHOWED A SMALL AREA OF INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS OVER PARTS OF EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS. THE AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM 45 MILES NORTHWEST OF LAFAYETTE NEAR MOROCCO IN CENTRAL NEWTON COUNTY TO ABOUT 15 MILES EAST OF BLOOMINGTON ILLINOIS. THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED ABOUT 35 MILES NORTH OF CHAMPAIGN ILLINOIS IN CENTRAL FORD COUNTY ILLINOIS.
