000 TTAA00 KIND 132007 SVRIND INC105-132100- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDIANAPOLIS IN 307 PM EST SAT JUN 13 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 400 PM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF SOUTH CENTRAL INDIANA...MONROE AT 305 PM EST...RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 15 MILES NORTHWEST OF BLOOMINGTON MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH. THIS STORM DOWNED TREES AT 2 MILES NORTH OF SPENCER AT 300 PM. CAMPERS AND BOATERS IN BROWN COUNTY STATE PARK AND MONROE RESIVOIR SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY AND GET OF THE LAKE. SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDIANAPOLIS INDIANA 258 PM EST SAT JUN 13 1987 A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM EST FOR WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST INDIANA AT 250 PM EST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED TWO VERY INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS OVER CENTRAL INDIANA. THE STORMS WERE OVER QUINCY AND GOSPORT...35 TO 40 MILES SOUTHWEST OF INDIANAPOLIS. THESE STORMS WERE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINS...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND POSSIBLY GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL.
