EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...EASTERN AND NORTHEAST KNOX AND WESTERN AND 
 NORTHWEST PEORIA

455 PM CDT PUBLIC REPORTED NUMEROUS SIGHTINGS OF A FUNNEL CLOUD
IN SOUTHEASTERN KNOX COUNTY NEAR DOUGLAS.  THIS STORM WAS MOVING
EAST TOWARD ELMWOOD IN WESTERN PEORIA COUNTY ABOUT 10 NORTHWEST
OF PEORIA.

THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO...GO TO A BASEMENT SH.ELTER
IF AVAILABLE...OTHERWISE TO A CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR SCHUYLER AND MASON
COUNTIES OF WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS UNTIL 900 PM TONIGHT...

AT 400 PM THIS AFTERNOON...NO SEVERE WEATHER HAS BEEN REPORTED IN
CENTRAL ILLINOIS.  HOWEVER...RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM
WEST OF BRADFORD IN EXTREME NORTHEAST STARK COUNTY.  BRADFORD IS
ABOUT 35 MILES NORTH OF PEORIA.  THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST
AT 30 MPH.

RADAR ALSO INDICATED A LARGE AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THAT
STRETCHED FROM SPRINGFIELD TO QUINCY TO ST. LOUIS.
THIS AREA WAS MOVING EAST...NORTHEAST AT 20 TO 25 MPH.
