000 TTAA00 KAHN 232019 SVRAHN GAC195-232115- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ATHENS GA 419 PM EDT THU APR 23 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 515 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF NORTHEAST GEORGIA...MADISON AT 415 PM EDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF MADISON COUNTY IN NORTHEAST GEORGIA AND WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS DEFINED AS HAVING WINDS AT LEAST 58 MPH AND/OR HAIL 3/4 INCH IN DIAMETER OR LARGER. IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES...TAKE IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONS.
