000 TTAA00 KBUF 172006 COR SVRBUF NYC009-172110- BULLETIN IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING CORRECTION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BUFFALO NY 400 PM EDT THU SEP 17 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 510 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES IN WESTERN NEW YORK...CATTARAUGUS AT 400 PM BUFFALO WEATHER RADAR SHOWED AN INTENSE THUNDERSTORM JUST WEST OF RANDOLPH. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH. BE ON THE ALERT FOR THUNDERSTORMS ACCOMPANIED BY FREQUENT LIGHTNING.. STRONG DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL. LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN MAY ALSO CAUSE DRAINAGE FLOODING. BE ON THE ALERT FOR THUNDERSTORMS ACCOMPANIED BY FREQUENT LIGHTNING.. STRONG DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL.
