THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 400 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF


SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI...RIPLEY

AT 330PM CST A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS 50 MILES EAST OF WEST PLAINS
OR 10 MILES WEST OF DONIPHAN.  MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 30 MPH.
DONIPHAN IS IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM.  AS THIS STORM PASSED
THROUGH WEST PLAINS JUST BEFORE 3 PM GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL FELL FROM
IT.

REMEMBER A SEVERE THUNDESTORM PRODUCES DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF
60 MPH..LARGE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNI5NG..AND HEAVY RAINS THAT CAN
QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.
