THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 645 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

SOUTHWEST MONTANA...SOUTH AND CENTRAL LEWIS AND CLARK

AT ABOUT 5PM THE LEWIS AND CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF REPORT
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN THE LINCOL AREA WITH PEA TO MARBLE
SIZE HAIL, HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY WIND. THIS STORM IS MOVING
SOUTHEAST TO EAST AT ABOUT 30 MILES AN HOUR AND SHOULD EXTEND
FROM ABOUT HELENA TO WOLF CREEK IN ABOUT 1 HOUR.

 THIS STORM IS ACCOMPANIED BY INTENSE LIGHTNING. LIGHTNING IS A
 MAJOR CAUSE OF THUNDERSTORM FATALITIES.

 IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES..TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY.
