THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

SOUTHWEST MONTANA...NORTH CENTRAL POWELL AND NORTHERN AND NORTH 
 CENTRAL LEWIS AND CLARK

AT ABOUT 415 PM MDT A PUBLIC REPORT OF A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
NEAR ORVANDO IN NORTH-CENTRAL POWELL COUNTY WAS PRODUCING
MARBLE TO 1-INCH SIZE HAIL. THIS STORM IS MOVING EAST AT
ABOUT 30 MILES AN HOUR AND SHOULD BE ENTERING LEWIS AND
CLARK COUNTY JUST NORTH OF LINCOLN.

 THIS STORM IS ACCOMPANIED BY INTENSE LIGHTNING. LIGHTNING IS A
 MAJOR CAUSE OF THUNDERSTORM FATALITIES.

 IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES..TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY.
