THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 445 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

CENTRAL MINNESOTA...NORTHERN CARVER...SOUTHWEST HENNEPIN...SCOTT AND 
 DAKOTA

AT 350 AM SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE OCCURRING WRIGHT...CARVER...
AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES OF THE TWIN CITIES METRO AREA.  THESE
STORMS MAY PRODUCE LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS AS WELL AS
DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.  MOVEMENT OF THESE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IS
TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR.  CITIES INCLUDED IN THIS
WARNING ARE SAVAGE...FARMINGTON...AND ROSEMOUNT.

REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE
HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. ALSO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN
AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NOR ADVANCE
WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF
SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.
