THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 150 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...NORTHEAST POPE AND WESTERN STEARNS

AT 1250 AM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS IN WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA IN THE ALEXANDRIA AREA.
THESE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCED HAIL OF 3/4 INCH DIAMETER AT 1245 AM
AT ALEXANDRIA.  THEY WILL BE MOVING ACROSS NORTHEAST POPE AND INTO
STEARNS COUNTIES OF CENTRAL MINNESOTA BETWEEN 1AM AND 2 AM...THUS
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS HAVE BEEN ISSUED FOR NORTHEAST POPE
AND WESTERN STEARNS COUNTIES.  SOME CITIES IN THE PATH OF THESE
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE GLENWOOD OF POPE COUNTY AND SAUK CENTRE
OF STEARNS COUNTY.

REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE
HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. ALSO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN
AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE
WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF
SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.
